1. Read from textbook- Period 1 Overview and Ch 1 The Renaissance and the Scientific Revolution. Pages 1-21. Create Flashcards or use Brainscape w/ chapter vocabulary. Due Friday, September 10th

1. Explain how the revival of classical texts contributed to the development of the Renaissance in Italy.
2. Explain the political, intellectual, and cultural effects of the Italian Renaissance.

Procedure: 
1. Watch Mr. D's Screencast 
2. Unit 1 PowerPoint (1-5)
3. Primary source readings- Renaissance  
4. Answer the reading questions for the primary sources- Submit on Schoology- Due Tonight
